  • 1994-1995 Started to play chess and to follow my father’s vision on the education program (didn’t go to school)

  • 1997 Beginning of the professional chess life

  • 1998 Won World Championship among girls under 10

  • 2000 Started to give simultaneous exhibitions and promote chess at different event, in different cities and later in different countries

  • 2004 Became Women International Master

  • 2005 Started to play for teams in different chess ligues (Russian, French and Chinese)

  • 2007 Won World Championship among girls under 20; Became Women International Grandmaster

  • 2008 Participation in the Women World Cup; Beginning of University studies in Tomsk and Qingdao

  • 2010 6-9 places in the Russian Women Superfinal; Qualified to the final of the Women World Blitz Championship

  • 2011-2013 Fellow of the Academy Schloss Solitude where I started to explore chess in the intersection between art and business;

  • 2014-2015 Work on the projects started during the fellowship at the Akademie Schloss Solitude; TED Talk

  • 2015 Met my husband. Started to participate in chess tournaments again and to assist my husband in his work, including work on his books.

  • 2020 Beginning of studies at the Université de Strasbourg

  • 2022 Graduation from the diploma program “Contemporary artists - photography, video documentary and storytelling“ at the Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia

  • 2022 - until now : majoring in German studies at language department of the Strasbourg university, learning drawing and illustration at the Kalacheva School, trying to develop personal creative projects while helping my husband with his work, occasionally taking part in chess events as a player when my team needs me to play or as a freelance photo journalist
